The Digital & ICT Skills Action Plan for Yorkshire and the Humber 2005-2009 has been developed to provide a framework for the successful and vigorous development of digital and ICT skills across the Region. It is formally incorporated into the Regional Economic Strategy and represents a major building block for future economic prosperity in the Region.

A number of briefing events have been held this summer in Humberside, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire to raise awareness of the Action Plan and to showcase the activity already happening on the ground that is helping to achieve the objectives of the Plan and putting Yorkshire and Humber at the forefront of digital and ICT skills development.
